What’s in the package?

When I received my order, I found the Z GRILLS ZPG-7002E 2019 New Model wrapped in two different packages.

Assembly was not a pain in the neck. Thanks to the detailed setup instructions provided. I was able to get my grill fully ready in under an hour. The material of this pellet grill is stainless steel.

Downside

Not the best option for searing

Many manufacturers advertise their pellet grill as “a perfect searing grill,” but we all know that reverse is the case. The ability to sear is one major problem of most pellet grills. And Z GRILLS isn’t different. It comes with a maximum temperature of 475°F. So don’t expect a smooth searing.

Unable to clean ash and pellet wastes

Removing unused pellets can be difficult. Some greasy ash usually develops inside this unit.

I recommend purchasing a shop vac, so you don’t damage your vacuum cleaner.

Apart from this, I find the 700E model a good one for your BBQ smoking. The grill construction is durable and high quality, and the temperature control is just top-notch.

Also, you need to note that the Z GRILLS ZPG doesn’t only come in the 700E model, but also the 700D. It does with two extra storage doors and an updated caster wheels. I think the only difference between the D and E model is that the 700E comes with a 475°F max temperature while the 700D comes at 450°F. At a maximum temperature of 450°F, don’t expect a perfect searing with the pellet grill.

Updated digital controller

Just like expensive models like Traeger and pit boss, Z GRILLS integrated a similar temperature and pellet feed control system.

Temperature control fluctuations

On Amazon, many users complained of the high-temperature variance of about 30°F from the original temperature. I hope Z GRILLS looks into this temperature control issue.
